2024 has been an exciting year for us at Visual Hackers, filled with creative challenges, innovative designs, and impactful collaborations.
In this article, we look at some of the standout projects that defined our year, showcasing how we helped our clients tell their stories in compelling and visually striking ways.
Let’s see first what the growths of this past year are and some thoughts from our founder and senior designer Mihai Zamfir.
2024 continued to be a year in which we grew beyond just being a typical design agency, but instead using design as part of a more strategic approach to help our clients achieve their goals. Whether that meant working on larger projects in which initial strategy and consultancy had to be offered before designing anything (eg: pitch deck projects where we also worked on strategy, story, and content, besides design) or developing some of the internal frameworks that we’ve been using in our design process to achieve constant high-quality outputs that would help our clients differentiate themselves better.
We also put a lot more accent this year on networking and making our presence known within our country’s startup ecosystem, establishing ourselves as the top choice for startups & accelerators when it comes to pitching preparation.
What were the best moments of 2024 for the agency?
The best moments were seeing our clients achieve their goals - several startups managed to successfully raise funding, while other clients (startups & investors) managed to close and announce these successes that we initially worked on the previous year (eg: Harpoon VC which announced at the beginning of 2024 their $125M new investment fund for which we developed the pitch deck back in 2023).
Some other great moments came from forging these deeper connections with strategic partners, whether they were older relationships or new ones. We had the privilege also to give back and hold a few workshops on themes such as creating winning pitch decks or making successful product & sales pitches, sharing from our experiences and practical examples
What changes have you seen in the presentation design industry?
The mass adoption of AI tools - which on the one hand we’ve implemented in our processes and has been of great value in making us more efficient and allowing us to focus on higher impact work, on the other hand, there’s also been an increasing expectation from clients’ side to have very unique and specific visuals and animations that can be generated with different AI tools.
Another change we’ve seen is that more and more clients have moved from traditional presentation software, like Powerpoint, looking to use newer cutting-edge tools that offer a better experience (Pitch.com and Figma slides to name just a couple)

Project: Sales Deck
Mission Mobile Medical provides mobile healthcare solutions for medical, dental, Opioid Treatment, and more! They are committed to bridging the gap in access to care across the US nation by transforming remanufactured RVs into fully functional mobile clinics. Using an innovative approach, remanufactured chassis are turned into brand-new mobile clinics, providing essential healthcare services to underserved populations.
We are proud to support their mission of providing access to healthcare in remote areas in the US from mobile medical solutions.

Project: Fintech Report
The Romanian Fintech Association - RoFintech - was established in January 2020 as a professional entrepreneurial association to represent the interests of Romanian-founded enterprises developing proprietary technological solutions.
We have partnered with them to design their second report.

IOPn leverages blockchain, AI, and cutting-edge spatial computing to build a user-centric Web3 ecosystem. Own your data, experience immersive worlds, and leverage intelligence tools. Empowering 1 billion users with digital freedom.
The purpose of the presentations we did for them was to boost web3 innovation in the RAK Emirate from UAE.
What do we want from 2025?
On one hand, to continue working on impactful projects that can ultimately make the world a better place. That means supporting startups and initiatives in industries such as climate tech, health tech and digital innovation (AI, web3)
On the other hand, continue supporting the national startup ecosystem as a way of giving back and helping the next generation of Romanian innovation to break through on a global stage.
